About me

A travel and documentary photographer based in Aotearoa New Zealand

Bio

I am a travel and documentary photographer, currently based in Aotearoa New Zealand. Born and raised in the eastern coast of China, I got my degree in Germany and have worked across Asia, Europe and Africa.

As a consultant working on environmental and climate change issues, I see photography as a way to connect with nature and the people, and a tool to effectively tell the story and inspire actions.

Expertise

My work focuses on landscape and the relationship between people and their environment.

Currently, I'm working to build a body of work that portraits our social and economic links with Asia's rivers. Water is essential for development. In the face of a changing climate, water risk is looming large across Asia. To inspire actions, we all need to have better understandings of our relationship with water.
